It seems as though this year is going to be the year of change for my family. September will bring us a new little person to call one of our own. A new little Walker. September will also bring a new step for myself and my sister, it is then that we hope to move out into our own place.
Colin the second oldest in our family will be back tomorrow from the Middle East different than when he left. He will then leave again in January 2007 for Egypt to study for a year.
Emily will be back in a week and a half from California. Again very different than when she left.
My sister Carrie and I were talking last night as I "tucked" her in. She was very thoughtful about the changes, even the simple ones of gaining two more siblings after it just being the two of us. It will most likely get louder around here, a little less peaceful. But we will never have the combination these last six monthes have given us. Carrie, me, Mom and Dad. That is okay I am not complaining, it is a just something to reflect on.
